Info –
A unique piece of 5 collectible editions, crafted through a process of motion and material exploration. Using clay as the primary material in the process, the table was made in one continuous stretch. A bed of clay was hollowed and formed by hand to create a large organic basin. The final form is handcast from the clay waste mold using a combination of gypsum and stone dust powders.
Each indentation and mark serves as a permanent record of the artist’s hands and artistic process. The table’s base is hand-packed into a mold, surrounding a sturdy concrete counter-weight that provides stability and ensures longevity.
The final piece combines form, functionality, and material memory.
